Donna Williams of BAYADA Pediatrics was recognized by Delaware’s local news site (DETVCH.com) for her outstanding work as a licensed practical nurse (LPN) who cares for young children. This work led her to receive the BAYADA Hero of the Quarter Award were she was chosen out of hundreds of nurses for her compassion, excellence, and reliability.

The man who published the article is the father of one of Williams’ clients, Madison. Williams takes care of Madison during her night shifts. The article discusses the BAYADA Hero Program and explains why Donna stands out.     "Donna is determined to make a difference in the lives of everyone she meets and touches.”

Williams was honored by her office with a special ceremony attended by her family, coworkers, and even her client Madison. It was noted that Williams is always willing to fill whatever open shift she can. She was also applauded for handling difficult situations with grace and patience.

Her nomination form stated, “The love the families of her clients have for her demonstrates what a wonderful caregiver she is.”

This couldn't be truer. When a father writes an article to celebrate his daughter’s nurse, the caregiver must be a special one.
