In partnership with Drexel University's College of Nursing and Health Professionals, the 2018 BAYADA Award applications are now underway. Those with innovative ideas in either two categories (health care education or clinical practice) are encouraged to apply to win one of two $10,000 awards.

The health care education category includes both didactic and clinical curricular delivery methods and improving student clinical competency outcomes. The clinical practice category includes patient care, improving efficiency of health care delivery, preventing errors, and improving safety and outcomes.

Deadline for this year’s application is March 1, 2018 and can be downloaded here. Or, call 267-359-5693 for more information.

Recipients will be honored at the BAYADA Home Health Care Speaker Series at Drexel University’s College of Nursing and Health Professions in April 2018. Travel, accommodations, and expenses will be paid for winners.

“We’re proud to carry on this important tradition of empowering health care professionals whose vital contributions in education or practice can have a lasting impact on their field and improve the quality of life for those in their care,” said Mark Baiada, founder and chairman of BAYADA Home Health Care.

The BAYADA Award for Technological Innovation in Health Care Education and Practice was established in 2004 in recognition of health care providers who have made significant contributions to education or practice through the development or adoption of new technologies.
