BAYADA Home Health Care Client Services Manager Sue Cicchetti, who works in the company's Hackensack office, was recognized as the recipient of the prestigious Linda Siessel Award for Excellence in Client Services Leadership for unwavering support of BAYADA clients and the professionals who care for them.

Named in honor of Chief Operating Officer Linda Siessel who began her career at BAYADA over 30 years ago, the award pays tribute to the company’s hundreds of client services managers working from over 300 offices in 22 states. The annual award is presented to a client services manager who demonstrates excellence in advocating for home health care clients, building relationships, resolving challenges, and supporting company growth.

Cicchetti accepted the award in front of more than 2,300 employees at the company’s annual awards meeting held recently in Washington, D.C.  Upon hearing her named called from among the many nominees, she expressed her surprise and heartfelt appreciation.

“I’m humbled. I am absolutely blown away by the recognition and I’m still in shock,” said Cicchetti.  “I’m very honored to be named a Linda Siessel Award winner and cannot thank my colleagues enough for all of their support.”

Cicchetti began her tenure as a client services manager with BAYADA’s Hackensack, NJ, office in 1997, a position she still holds today. She is responsible for ensuring her clients have the care they need by matching the best home health care professional with each client. “She has done her job with the same energy and compassion every day for the last 19 years,” said BAYADA Director Chris Maloney.  “She is The BAYADA Way come to life. She works so diligently to make sure every single person she is granted the privilege to help is left with the best possible care.”

BAYADA Division Director Ali Waeschle couldn’t agree more. “Sue leads with her heart every day and only wants the absolute best for her clients,” said Waeschle. “She is an inspiration, a role model, and committed to making sure her clients always come first.”

According to the award’s namesake, Linda Siessel, who had the honor of announcing this year’s winner, Cicchetti combines her top-notch leadership skills with her remarkable compassion. “Her clients feel secure knowing that with Sue on the job, they have nothing to worry about,” Siessel told the standing-room only crowd that included Cicchetti’s family, who secretly attended the event as a surprise to their wife and mother.

“It’s all still unreal to me,” said Cicchetti. “I love working for BAYADA and I love my job because I can help give my clients peace of mind and put them at ease.”
