BAYADA at Inspira Hospice today announced that it has received the 2018 HOSPICE HONORS Award for quality care from HEALTHCAREfirst, a leading provider of web-based home health and hospice software, billing, and coding services.  BAYADA at Inspira Hospice, led by Director Yvonne Elsey, provides a wide range of high quality hospice services to help those at end of life remain at home with comfort and dignity.

HOSPICE HONORS is a landmark compilation of hospice organizations nationwide that provide the best patient and caregiver experience. Established by HEALTHCAREfirst, this prestigious annual review recognizes hospices that continuously provide the highest level of quality as measured from the caregiver’s point of view.  Criteria were based on Hospice CAHPS (HOSCAHPS) patient survey results from October 2016 through September 2017. Award recipients were identified by evaluating performance on a set of 24 quality indicator measures.

“We are excited to recognize the 2018 Hospice Honors recipients for their hard work and dedication to providing exceptional care,” said J. Kevin Porter of HEALTHCAREfirst. “I congratulate BAYADA at Inspira Hospice on its success in achieving this highest of honors.”

“This is a well-deserved honor, and I’m so proud of the office’s commitment to our patients and their families,” said Randy Brown, BAYADA Hospice division director. “I’m thankful for all they do to help our patients at end of life remain safe and comfortable at home, where they want to be.”
