BAYADA Home Health Care, a national leader in providing the highest quality of home care services for people of all ages, is offering a paid residency program for recent nurse graduates to transition into a professional adult nursing role.
This full-time, 12-week, intensive training is taught by BAYADA’s Clinical Manager of Adult Clinical Education and is followed by a nine-month residency period. The hands-on and classroom learning includes simulation lab and complex skills training, such as tracheostomy and ventilator care.

Open to recent RN or LPN graduates from accredited programs, BAYADA’s Adult Nurse Residency program bridges the gap between the classroom and the real world, giving new nurses real-life experience in a safe, nurturing environment. Applicants must have passed their nursing boards and demonstrated success in a nursing school curriculum with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
One Nurse Residency graduate, RN Rachelle Kerner, says the program put her on the path to success. She's been with BAYADA for six months and is already taking on extra shifts. "The program gave me invaluable hands-on experience and mentorship that is so important," she says. "It allowed me to shadow nurses in the field as well as learn in the classroom. Both the training staff and my preceptors were extremely supportive and vested in my success."
