“Both of our organizations share a passion for rehabilitating bodies and spirits,” said McMahon. “Two people who are responsible for igniting that passion in all of us are Mark and Ann Baiada.”
“Mark Baiada has inspired independence and ability with his sole sponsorship of the BAYADA Regatta, the nation’s oldest and largest all-adaptive regatta, for more than 30 years,” McMahon continued. “His commitment to giving back to the communities where we live and work has been the guiding light that has been the foundation of our work since 1975. Ann Baiada shares his vision and created BAYADA’s in-home rehabilitation program, BAYADAbility, to promote independence and encourage ability through clinical excellence.”
More than 30 BAYADA employees from the Philadelphia area came together to support the award ceremony that benefitted Magee’s community and patient programs, such as wheelchair sports and adjunctive therapies.
