BAYADA Home Health Care has received national recognition for excellence in enterprise education and workforce development.
BAYADA received a bronze-level award in Chief Learning Officer magazine’s 2018 LearningElite program. This robust, peer-reviewed ranking and benchmarking program recognizes those organizations worldwide that employ exemplary workforce development strategies which deliver significant business results. Award winners were selected according to peer-reviewed rankings for performance on five criteria: learning strategy, leadership commitment, learning execution, learning impact, and business performance results.
BAYADA’s award was for its Operational Leadership Program, a developmental opportunity for office employees who are transitioning into leadership roles. The five-month course combines live virtual classroom sessions via webcast, self-directed learning, mentoring, and experiential learning activities to give participants a blended learning experience.
“With a number of emerging leaders preparing to transition to the next level, we needed to create and install agile learning that prepared new directors to be confident and successful in their new roles,” said Larry Baider, BAYADA division director for Enterprise Talent Management, Leadership Development, and Learning.
According to Sarah Kimmel, vice president of research and advisory services for Human Capital Management—the publisher of Chief Learning Officer magazine—advanced evaluation methods were used to determine the latest LearningElite winners and “objectively identify those enterprises whose training and development initiatives can be connected directly to improved business outcomes." The analysis also "yielded valuable benchmarking data that validates the impact of effective training and development initiatives on performance and provides other organizations with learning strategies they can use to be more competitive."
