During World MS Day on May 27 and throughout the rest of the year, BAYADA Home Health Care is dedicated to connecting with the MS community through our partnerships and participation in Walk MS events to show that we are #strongerthanMS.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) has personally affected many of our BAYADA employees and clients throughout the years. BAYADA Clinical Manager Erin Simyak shares, “I have a close friend who is a nurse and has MS. Through her and our clients, I see firsthand how the disease has impacted those affected and how it makes it harder for them to live their lives every day. I walk to support my friend, our clients, and all people living with MS.”

The National MS Society’s Walk MS season has recently concluded in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware where we were a presenting sponsor for the Greater Delaware Valley and New Jersey Metro Chapters and a platinum-level sponsor for the Keystone Chapter in Western PA. Team BAYADA had a strong presence with more than 160 participants among 17 walks raising more than $3,000 in 2015. We expect to expand our presence in 2016 with some teams already making big plans.

BAYADA shares The MS Society’s mission of raising awareness of the disease and creating a world without MS. Until there’s a cure, our goal is to keep people living with the disease safe at home with comfort, independence, and dignity. Learn more about home health care services for people with MS.
