BAYADA Home Health Care Founder and President Mark Baiada and Director Ann Baiada, RN, CRRN, were honored by the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) School of Nursing with Visionary Leader Awards. More than 350 faculty members, students, alumni, and friends attended the event, which was held on Monday, December 10, at Mayfair Farms in West Orange, NJ.
“We were gratified by the presence of such distinguished individuals at our school’s 20th anniversary celebration,” said Susan Salmond, EdD, RN, FAAN, dean, and professor. “Each honoree exemplifies the highest ideals of leadership and service to others, ideals that form the core of our school’s mission and the heart of the profession of nursing.”
The Baiadas were honored for advancing nursing and health care through their outstanding contributions to education, health care delivery, community service, and philanthropy. “We’re humbled to be recognized with this honor,” said Mrs. Baiada. “In turn, we’d like to recognize all of the BAYADA employees who make it possible for our clients to receive such special care every day.”
Mr. Baiada added, “For more than 35 years, we’ve been fortunate to find like-minded people who are committed to bringing to life our shared vision of helping more and more people experience a better quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.”
