BAYADA Home Health Care CEO David Baiada was recently named an Entrepreneur of The Year® 2021 Greater Philadelphia Award winner by Ernst & Young, LLP (EY US). The Entrepreneur of The Year Awards program is one of the preeminent competitive awards for entrepreneurs and leaders of high-growth companies.
The Entrepreneur of the Year award recognizes those who are unstoppable entrepreneurial leaders, excelling in talent management; degree of difficulty; financial performance; societal impact, building a values-based company, originality, innovation, and future plans. Baiada was selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was announced during the program’s virtual awards gala on July 27, 2021.
David Baiada was appointed CEO in August 2017 when BAYADA’s founder, Mark Baiada, stepped into a new role as Chairman. In 2019, Baiada oversaw the day-to-day transition of BAYADA into a nonprofit organization, part of Mark Baiada’s Lasting Legacy plan to become the world’s most compassionate and trusted team of home health care professionals. The move was designed to ensure the important work of the organization—guided by The BAYADA Way™ mission, vision and core values of compassion, excellence and reliability—will continue for generations to come, and that good people who are called to a higher level of serving will always have a place of value at BAYADA.

Today, BAYADA is a global leader in home health care, with over 26,000 nurses, aides, therapists, and other professionals serving clients in more than 345 locations in 22 states, Canada, Germany, India, Ireland, New Zealand, South Korea, and the United Kingdom.
