The BAYADA Award for Technological Innovation in Health Care Education and Practice was established in 2004 in recognition of health care providers who have made significant contributions to education or practice through the development or adoption of new technologies.

In partnership with Drexel University's College of Nursing and Health Professionals, applications for the 2017 awards are now underway, and those with an innovative idea in patient care or health care education are encouraged to apply to win one of two $10,000 awards.

“We’re proud to carry on this important tradition of empowering health care professionals whose vital contributions in education or practice can have a lasting impact on their field and improve the quality of life for those in their care,” said Mark Baiada, founder and president of BAYADA Home Health Care.

Deadline for this year’s application is March 1, 2017 and can be downloaded here. Recipients will be honored at the BAYADA Home Health Care Speaker Series at Drexel University’s College of Nursing and Health Professions in May 2017.
