(NYSE: UHS), owner of subsidiary Manatee Healthcare System which offers an integrated system of care for more than 400,000 people in Bradenton, FL, and BAYADA Home Health Care, a leading non-profit home health care provider, today launched Manatee Health at Home by BAYADA, a joint venture partnership that will further expand integrated care delivery network capabilities into patient homes.
Manatee Health at Home by BAYADA leverages the combined resources and expertise of UHS, Manatee Healthcare and BAYADA to strengthen the post-acute continuum of care to meet the increasing demand for in-home services, particularly among the aging population. It will help patients of Manatee Healthcare and other providers to manage chronic conditions or recover from recent surgery, illness, or injury in the comfort and safety of their own homes. Manatee Healthcare comprises Manatee Memorial Hospital, Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, Manatee Diagnostic Center, Lakewood Ranch Medical Group and Manatee Physician Alliance.
