Mark and Ann Baiada are being honored by the Community Foundation of South Jersey (CFSJ) for their philanthropic efforts. The Legacy of Giving Award is for South Jersians who devote time and money to charitable causes. An event will be held in October at The Community House in Moorestown, NJ  where Mark and Ann will be awarded during the Legacy of Giving Award Dinner.

“We are honored to include two people among our Legacy of Giving Award honorees who have such a personal commitment to making the world a better place,” noted Sidney Hargro, Executive Director of CFSJ. “They serve as a reminder of how giving back is not only the right thing to do but also necessary for a thriving, positive community.”

The Baiadas have spent their lives giving back. Ann Baiada, RN, CRRN, started with her nursing profession and continued later with her commitment to organizations such as Mercy Career and Technical High School, Sacred Heart School in Camden, NJ, Moorestown Community House, Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton, and more.

Mark Baiada dedicated his life’s work to helping people live a safe home life with comfort, independence, and dignity. Today, BAYADA Home Health Care serves patients in 22 states from more than 300 offices.

Beyond dedicating his work to good cause, he partners with organizations such as The ALS Association and Alzheimer’s Association and donates time and money in the fight to cure both. He’s also been the sole sponsor of the BAYADA Regatta, a competitive rowing event for athletes with disabilities. He has also sponsored various relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina, the tsunami disaster of 2004, and the Haiti earthquake.
