BAYADA Pediatrics, a BAYADA Home Health Care specialty practice, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dominic Molin to associate director of the company’s Greenville office. BAYADA Pediatrics provides nursing care at home for children from birth through adolescence with complex medical needs.

Molin joined BAYADA In 2014 as part of the company’s Associate Leadership Development Program (ALDP), a fast-track management trainee program designed to develop future leaders. Prior to BAYADA, he worked as a project manager for a private dental practice.

“Being a part of the ALDP program gave me an opportunity to hone the management skills I learned in college and to become involved in the administrative side of health care, which I really enjoy.” said Molin, who graduated from Georgia State University with a BS in Economics and a minor in Biology Science.

As part of the unique training program, Molin had the chance to travel to BAYADA offices in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, learning all facets of the pediatric home care business.

“When we opened in Greenville in May, 2016, Dominic agreed to pack his things and transfer from the Atlanta, GA office to the new location,” said BAYADA Division Director Virginia Steelman.  “In his role as lead client services manager, he made sure that all of his patients’ nursing shifts were covered. He also helped the office move, hired a new associate, and forged relationships with community referral sources. The promotion to associate director seemed a natural next step.”

As one of the few home care agencies in the area specializing in pediatrics, BAYADA works closely with children’s hospitals to transition their patients from the hospital to the home care setting. In his new role, Molin hopes to cement BAYADA Pediatrics as the provider of choice for the Greenville area.

“I see myself here long-term because what we do matters,” he said. “We employ nurses who truly care and value the quality of one-on-one care with their pediatric patients. Thanks to them, these kids get to stay at home with their families, instead of living in a facility or being forced to stay in the hospital for long periods of time. It’s a win-win for everyone.”
