When her newborn son finally left the hospital after a 10-month stay, their family felt whole.** After the premature birth of her son Jesse at only one pound, five ounces, Jen Silbert was terrified. They learned every medical detail of their son’s condition. They pulled through surgeries and procedures and a long stay in Progressive Care—for a total of 291 exhausting days in the hospital. With hospital-to-home pediatric transition support, Jen and Cameron could finally step fully into their roles as mom and dad.
