Ann Claffey’s journey with BAYADA began in 1989 when Mark Baiada hired her for her expertise in clinical management and home rehabilitation nursing. (A few years later, sparks flew, and Ann and Mark have been happily married since 1991.)
Driven by a passion to improve the lives of people with disabilities, Ann put together a team of certified rehabilitation nurses. Together, they innovated new ways to deliver exceptional care to those with complex medical needs, such as brain and spinal cord injuries.
In 1998, Ann launched BAYADAbility Rehab Solutions, the first specialized home nursing program of its kind. Today, the program remains a leader in the field, with 50 CRRNs nationwide, many of whom are recognized as some of the world’s foremost experts in home rehabilitation nursing.
