For the second consecutive year, BAYADA Home Health Care has been named to Forbes’ list of “America’s Best Employers by State.” The home health care company secured the No. 1 slot in Delaware and ranked in Hawaii, New Jersey, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

Forbes compiled the list by partnering with market research firm Statista, surveying 70,000 workers in all 50 states at companies with a minimum of 500 employees. Anonymous survey participants were asked if they would recommend their employer to others and evaluated their employer on working conditions, diversity, compensation, development potential, company perception and more. Companies cannot pay a fee to participate.

This year, BAYADA was ranked in the following positions:

  • Delaware: 1st
  • Hawaii: 6th
  • New Jersey: 20th
  • North Carolina: 58th
  • Pennsylvania: 55th

“BAYADA’s singular purpose of helping people wouldn’t be possible without the incredible work of our employees,” said BAYADA CEO David Baiada. “We’ve fostered a unique culture that puts employees first. It’s rewarding to be recognized in this way, knowing the designation comes directly from those who have experienced the culture we’ve built.”

BAYADA has been recognized previously for its people-first focus and unique culture, making Forbes’ best employer list in 2022 and receiving the publication’s other designations including “Best Employers for New Grads” in 2019 and “Best Employers for Women” in 2020. BAYADA has also received accolades from Glassdoor, including “Top CEO” and “Best Places to Work” rankings that rely solely on the elective input of employees. BAYADA was also recognized by Newsweek four times over as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces 2023 for diversity, women, women and families, and overall.

BAYADA goes to great lengths to recognize and reward employee commitment, offering nearly a dozen recognition programs and providing scholarships, among other incentives and perks. BAYADA fosters employees’ individual growth with a variety of professional development and educational programs, including residency programs, specialization and certifications. In addition to investing in employees and offering tailored career progression, BAYADA also supports clinicians by offering flexibility of schedule for work-life balance. The ultimate goal is for employees to feel connected to purpose and a higher calling – for them to Love What They Do.

BAYADA is a career and a calling. Do what you love!
