Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA, expands access to in-home care, creates seamless care transitions with a focus on the patient experience.
Philadelphia, Pa., September 13, 2022 — Jefferson Health and BAYADA Home Health Care, a leading non-profit home health care provider, joined health care, business and community leaders to cut the ribbon on their new joint venture partnership, “Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA.”
The joint venture, managed and run by BAYADA, now in operation in the greater Philadelphia area, leverages the talented staff and innovative spirit of both organizations aimed at reshaping, reimagining and revolutionizing the future of home healthcare services. The partnership was built with specific emphasis on seamless transitions in care and easy access to in-home and virtual care to create the best patient experience in the industry.
“We are thrilled to launch this new offering in the Philadelphia region, where we will provide simple, timely transitions of care to best serve patients and reduce burden on health system staff,” said BAYADA Home Health Care CEO David Baiada. “Our mission-aligned partnership is designed with the patient at the center, allowing us to develop models of care that will meet the increasing and critical demand for care at home – where we know people want to be most.”
The partnership draws on BAYADA’s scale and management systems to oversee the joint venture operations, and is supported by the staff from BAYADA’s Philadelphia operations and home health staff from Jefferson Health New Jersey, Jefferson Health Abington and Einstein Montgomery.
“Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA allows us to integrate clinical and personal care services through a consistent model, helping us to provide the right level of care, at the right time, for Jefferson patients” added Bruce A. Meyer, MD, MBA, President, Jefferson Health. “This is an essential step forward as we forge the future of health care.”
